Our Statement of Faith:
We believe in the One True God, called JEHOVAH in the King James Version and called YAHWEH in the newer translations. We believe in His eternal Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That is, One God presenting Himself to mankind in Three Persons for His purposes, with this Trinity being of One substance.
We believe that the Father is the Creator and Sovereign ruler of ALL things. We believe that the Father sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, to save this fallen world through the sacrifice of Himself for all sin. This sacrifice is sufficient for all sin, but it is effective only for those who put their faith in Christ Jesus. We believe that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. We believe He lived a sinless life, and thus was the perfect Lamb of God. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and on the 3rd Day, the first day of the week (Sunday), He physically arose from the grave and He holds the keys of death and hell. We believe that He ascended to the right hand of the Father and is ever making intercession for us.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God; the Third Person of the Godhead. We believe that the Spirit proceeds from the Father and from the Son, being One co-equally with them. We believe that every true believer must be “born again”, that is, born of the Spirit. We believe in sanctification by the Spirit through the Word of God as we submit to Him. We believe that being born again results from true repentance. We believe that the Father gives us His Spirit, and as we are filled with His Word, we become more and more like His Son.
We believe in the doctrine of baptisms, including the baptism with the Spirit as described in Scripture. We believe in the laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and in eternal judgment.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inerrant and infallible, and our final authority in all matters.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, is coming back in the clouds with great power and glory.
We believe that God is love and, that through His Spirit within us, we should love one another as He commanded us.
